Reclaim Mis-sold PPI

Over the past year, the rise in the number of claims for mis-sold payment protection insurance (PPI) has been astronomical.

There has been a huge rise in the number of companies that will charge you (usually a percentage of your claim) to do this for you.

What the claims companies don't want you to know is that they simply complete a standard form (see below), and if unsuccessful pass it on to the Financial Ombudsman Service. All of which you can easily do yourself.

These are the exact forms that a claims management companies will charge you for filling in. Why not do it yourself?

Print off a separate form for each PPI claim you are making. It is worth taking your time over, as the more information you provide, the more smoothly your claim will be dealt with. Also, take a copy of all forms incase needed for future reference.

Once you have completed your forms, send them to your PPI provider (addresses can be found here).

If you are unsuccessful then forward your claim to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Note: Ensure that you don't actually require PPI, as claims will cancel your insurance.
